It’s one thing to go through a haunted house, but it’s quite another when it’s actually haunted by ghosts. The Mortuary has an interesting (and dark) history and many believe that there are still spirits that wander the halls. By the 1930s, it had changed ownership and became a full service funeral home, PJ McMahon and Sons.
The Haunted Mortuary/Facebook It’s estimated that over 20,000 funerals were performed at PJ McMahon and Sons in the 50 years it was operational.
Not surprisingly, the mansion has developed the reputation for being haunted. There have been many reports of ghostly sightings and unexplained phenomenon in the building.
