The White Tail Loop trail is in the middle of an “urban forest” here near Kansas City. The otherworldly beauty begins as soon as you step inside the tree cover, and ends once you find your way back out.

The 3-mile trail sits inside the Parkville Nature Sanctuary, one of the most beautiful places around.
