Unless you make it a point to take the back roads whenever possible or you regularly travel from Yakima to Enumclaw, you probably haven’t spent much time on Chinook Pass. But by skipping this scenic byway, you’re missing out on the chance to take in some of the state’s finest scenery, including the majestic Mt. Rainier.

Chinook Pass is considered one of the most beautiful drives in the state.
