Of course, some of you have heard of it before, but why not share with everyone the uniqueness of this little hippie town?

The giant decorative plate is a popular spot for photos, as it represents the whole town.

There’s also the public toilet shaped like a giant toilet.

The outside and inside is decorated with mosaics of many colors.

It’s not uncommon to see an oddly decorated vehicle, either.

Get Lucas Facebook Whether it’s the ChewBaru Art Car, or one covered in toy dinosaurs melting into tar, who knows what you’ll see next in this town of artists and well-meaning folk.

Of course, a trip to Lucas isn’t complete without visiting S. P. Dinsmoor’s Garden of Eden.
