We all love good barbecue, and truth be told, most of us will drive out of the way to get our hands on mouthwatering meat and ribs. So, if you’re willing to travel off the beaten path in northeastern Oklahoma, head to Wild Horse Mountain BBQ in Sallisaw and discover what people have been raving about since 1965.

If you travel along Interstate 40 in northeastern Oklahoma, take exit 308 at Sallisaw and look for the Bar-B-Que sign for Wildhorse Mountain. Head south about 2.7 miles and you’ll spot the rustic restaurant on the side of the road.
