There’s nothing like hiking to something truly spectacular, like a shimmering turquoise lake. In fact, we have a body of water that is (appropriately) named Turquoise Lake here in Montana — but if you want to see it, you’ll have to put in some serious work.
The Turquoise Lake Trail is located near Condon, and it’s about 12 miles long.

This trail is not meant for beginners – it’s lengthy, and you’ll face an elevation gain of about 1,500 feet.
