With an endless list of beautiful landscapes that are just waiting to be explored, New York is full of a variety of hikes that range from easy peasy to tough as nails. Some of the most rewarding trails in our state can also be some of the shortest! An exciting outing that won’t take up an entire day, here’s why you’ll want to check out this short but sweet trail in Oneida County for yourself.
Just outside of the village of Boonville with noticeable signage, Pixley Falls State Park is easy to find off of Route 46.

The day-use only park has an easy .7-mile long nature trail that visitors can explore.

Taking you through the serene forests that make up the 375 acres of Pixley Falls State Park, the nature trail will have you crossing over a handful of quaint little bridges.
