Pioneer Park is located in the center of Fairbanks, an interior town that is a perfect winter wonderland. A lovely blanket of snow covers the pioneer cabins, most constructed 100 years ago. The old timey town is dressed up for the dark winter nights with colorful lights. A wonderful place to take a stroll with someone special or bring the whole family to see this enchanting park at Christmas time.
Pioneer Park was built in 1967 and called “A-67” at the time of construction. Many of the remaining cabins from the early days of the town were relocated here.
