Spring is the perfect season for kite flying. One Missouri community college is taking kite flying to new heights with their spectacular kite festival. Metropolitan Community College – Longview is once again holding the Flights of Fancy Kite Festival and you won’t believe the amazing kites that take flight at this event.
On April 21st, kites of all shapes, sizes, and colors will take to the sky at the Flights of Fancy Kite Festival in Lee’s Summit.

In addition to kite flying, there will be lots of activities for your kids to enjoy. This year there will be an inflatable maze, face painting, and a candy drop!

Admission to the festival is free! You can even bring a picnic along but there will be food vendors on-site too. This awe inspiring festival simply can’t be missed!
