Nothing is quite as unifying as extreme weather. These days, in the midst of a record-breaking winter storm, it’s the talk of just about every region of the country. Even states which typically avoid any traces of snow now find themselves smack dab in the middle of a winter wonderland. (We’re looking at you, Florida and South Carolina.) Since humor is another great unifier, we thought we’d share a post discovered on Reddit that sums up perfectly how each region of the company is handling the weather. To briefly recap, Tallahassee experienced its first dusting of snow since 1989. With an accumulation of .1 inches, city officials urged residents to avoid driving if possible.

And while areas in the mid-east and northeastern part of the country were startled by the freezing temperatures, there was less of a shock factor.

Meanwhile in the midwest, sub zero temperatures and an accumulation of snow were hardly anything out of the norm. Photographed below is a scene from Chicago this week, complete with a nearly frozen river, as folks continue about their normal workday routine.
