Kinzua Bridge was once 2,053 feet long and 301 feet high and operated as a functioning railroad until 2003.

Nicholas A. Tonelli - Flickr This structure was once the tallest and longest railroad structure, but the Skywalk itself was reconstructed in 2011 as a walkway.

A tornado struck the bridge in 2003, resulting in irreparable damage to the railroad tracks.

Jim Mullhaupt - Flickr After the damage, the structure was reinvented to become what it is today - a popular tourist destination in McKean County, PA.

The Skywalk is a popular spot to take photos, and it’s not hard to see why!

You can still enjoy the park even if you have a fear of heights!
