Union Station in Kansas City was once a bustling fully operational train station. During World War II it is estimated that over a million travelers came through the station.

Washington is a great little town that is rich in train history. Check out their beautiful refurbished train station before heading to the Iron Spike Model Train Museum. This museum has tons of vintage model trains on display and you can even run some of their model trains through the displays.

After a relaxing stay in the Kozy Kaboose start your day at the Wabash Frisco and Pacific Railroad Association just outside of St. Louis. Take a ride on the 12 inch gauge live Steam Railroad which lasts about 30 minutes and is a 2 mile trip.
