During summer months visitors can take a 90-minute guided tour. The tours even provide access inside many of the structures. The buildings were all constructed between 1840 and 1910 and were all originally located within the St. Louis metro area.

After touring the historic village, take your kids across the park to the Sophia M. Sachs Butterfly House. They house more than 1,500 free flying butterflies in their Tropical Conservatory. It’s the perfect place to warm up in the winter.

While in Faust Park, it’s essential to take a ride on the St. Louis Carousel. This amazing ride has been in operation in the St. Louis area since 1929.

On this antique carousel you’ll find 60 hand-carved horses and four deer to ride inside the climate controlled building. Rides are $2 per person or $5 for three rides.
