Located in Princeville, The Queen’s Bath is on the north shore of Kauai, Hawaii. It’s a brilliant turquoise pool fed by sea water spilling over the encircling lava rocks.

Locals post signs around the pool warning tourists of the dangers of swimming on days when the waves reach above four feet. While the official records state that seven people have drowned in the pool between 1970 and 2012, local warning signs put the death toll at 28.
