Glacier National Park is one of the most beautiful places on the planet. It’s the pride and joy of Montana. And while nearly everyone who visits describes it as peaceful, it definitely has a dark side.
There have been grizzly bear attacks, accidents, and tragic deaths at the park in the past. And just a few years ago, it was the sight of a surprising murder.
In the summer of 2013, Jordan Graham married Cody Johnson.
Javier velazque / Flickr Jordan and Cody had been dating for two years.
Eight days after the wedding, Jordan and Cody went to Glacier from their hometown of Kalispell.

But this marriage was not a match made in heaven.
Drew Christiano / alltrails.com Jordan had been having second thoughts about the marriage. While on the hike, the couple started arguing when she said she was unhappy.
At one point, Jordan got angry and pushed Cody off a cliff.
Ewa Kolczyk / alltrails.com She then got back into her car and drive home to Kalispell, because she was scared and didn’t know what to do, she claimed.
The next day, when Cody didn’t show up to work, the police questioned Jordan.
Kate Brady / Flickr She claimed that Cody had gone out of town with friends and that she hadn’t seen him.
But eventually, Jordan’s suspicious activities led to her arrest.
Aaron Rosenberg / Flickr From continuously changing her story to the way she was acting, police were always suspicious. But when Jordan faked an email from a friend claiming that Cody was dead and then “found” the body on her own, they had enough evidence to arrest her.
Jordan pleaded guilty to second degree murder and was sentenced to 30 years in prison.
Shawn Mcclain / alltrails.com Jordan claimed the death was an accident and she didn’t mean to push Cody that far, but there are still plenty of people who believe she killed him because she regretted the marriage.
The murder of Cody Johnson by his new bride was one of the most shocking things to ever happen at Glacier National Park. But it isn’t the only strange thing to occur there. Apparently the park hotels are all haunted.
