With an author resident who writes the creepiest books on the planet, it should come as no surprise that we’ve got our fair share of hauntings to talk about. From abandoned mills to the ghosts of lighthouse keepers of the past, a lot of our state ghost stories even have a Maine flair to them! But, there’s one less talked about haunting that still confuses us. Today, we’re heading to University of Southern Maine to talk about the Robie-Andrews dorm. This creepy ghost story from Maine just might baffle you, too!

In fact, dorm residents have told stories of phantom noises and feeling cold areas. Others have reported seeing a woman in the tower. Reasonably possible until you remember that the tower has been closed off and inaccessible for many, many years.
