You’d be hard pressed to find a restaurant in inland Maine without a great view. That’s just one of the reasons we’re lucky to spend our days in Vacationland. But, while we love the summertime greenery and the snow covered hill views, it’s the fall foliage that really makes us swoon. This restaurant located away from the coast and overlooking one of the best lakes in Maine has great food, but it’s the views of the fall foliage that really takes the cake!

The Blair Hill Inn, located in beautiful Greenville, was once a gentleman’s estate and a breeding farm.

The house sits on the side of a sweeping hill and overlooks Moosehead Lake.

While the inn is a lovely place to escape the hustle and bustle of a busier life, the restaurant is a great place to spend a few hours away.

Each meal served at the restaurant comes from the garden on the grounds, which are planted in the inn’s greenhouse and gardens.

In addition to dinner and dessert, breakfast is not to be missed!

Possibly because the views are even better in the gorgeous sunlight.

The views of Mt. Kineo can be seen from both outside AND inside.

And the close proximity to Moosehead Lake means you can add a day of outdoor adventure to your dining experience.

But, why tire yourself out when you can laze around on the inn’s grounds taking in an autumn that can only be found in Maine?
