Is there really anything better than a thick, juicy steak and delicious sides enjoyed with your favorite people? From laid-back to formal, and from traditional to steak with an island twist, Hawaii’s steakhouses are as diverse as they are delicious. And while these steakhouses are all sublime in their own way, there is one scrumptious steakhouse hiding in the middle of nowhere on the island of Maui you’ll want to visit: the Makawao Steakhouse.

Located in upcountry Maui on the rural northwest slopes of Mount Haleakala is a charming little town in the middle of nowhere totally worthy of a visit.
