Mississippi is famous for its hospitality, so it should be no surprise that many of the rest stops in our state are actually Welcome Centers. These beautiful places are definitely worth pulling over for. Here’s one in Pearlington that also has an excellent museum right next door.
The Hancock County Welcome Center is located just off I-10, where it intersects with Highway 607 in Pearlington.
At 7,000 square feet, this is the largest of Mississippi’s Welcome Centers. It’s a beautiful antebellum building.
