There’s a boat in California’s capital of Sacramento that looks just like an ordinary ship from the outside. But this is no ordinary ship. In fact, you can eat and sleep in this vessel because it’s actually a hotel. Check out the Delta King in Northern California.

The Delta King is an authentic riverboat, originally constructed in Glasgow, Scotland and Stockton, California.

The Delta King and its sister, the Delta Queen, were christened on May 20, 1927. The two ships began daily journeys down the river between San Francisco and Sacramento.

Today, the boat is a hotel that offers plenty of fine dining, theater, and even a wine school. Enjoy it all as you float down the river for the night.
