White Rock Lake is located a mere five miles northeast of downtown Dallas. By day, the 1,015-acre city lake is one of the most frequented parks in the Dallas area. But at night, it becomes haunted… at least according to legend. What is it about this lake that casts such a sinister spell?
A wetland area, dog park, fishing, and even an on-site kayak concession makes White Rock Lake a top spot for locals.

In 1943, a story was published about the Lady of the Lake.

The ghost is also said to appear near the boat dock.
