Everyone thinks their alma mater is tops, but students from one Wyoming school can actually say theirs is the best.

When MSN researched the best high schools in the country, Big Horn High School topped the list in the Cowboy State. You won’t find it in one of the “big” cities, but the rural location and small population are part of what gives BHHS its edge.

The small number of students at Big Horn High contribute to making it the best in the state. The student to teacher ratio is 11:1, so kids have access to individualized attention when they need it.

Yet, there are more than enough strapping young athletes to put together a winning football team.
