When MSN researched the best high schools in the country, Big Horn High School topped the list in the Cowboy State. You won’t find it in one of the “big” cities, but the rural location and small population are part of what gives BHHS its edge.

Big Horn High School Being such a small community, BHHS has an average of about 149 students enrolled each year - and that is all high school students, not just the senior class.
The small number of students at Big Horn High contribute to making it the best in the state. The student to teacher ratio is 11:1, so kids have access to individualized attention when they need it.
