This garden is a peaceful place where you can walk through plenty of plants and trees native and adaptable to Kansas. It’s a fair bit prettier than my backyard, that’s for sure!

Bartlett Arboretum Facebook Bartlett Arboretum is a favorite of mine, with plenty of stunning scenes you just won’t find anywhere else. Walk over the bridge overlooking the water or enjoy the same paths that were being laid almost 100 years ago. They host live musicians and plenty of fun events throughout the year, so you should definitely make a trip out here every now and then to get the full experience.

They showcase 400 varieties of roses and over 6,500 plants, so make sure you’re stopping to smell plenty of them.
