It has been lovingly restored as if the Caldwell family was still living there as they did around 1908. Join in for one of the scheduled tours and be amazed at the fine craftsmanship of this majestic home.
- Yew Dell Botanical Gardens (6220 Old Lagrange Rd. Crestwood, Kentucky 40014)

This internationally-recognized nonprofit center is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. You’ll want to explore all of the unique and vibrant plants and flowers on the grounds, but you absolutely must see the castle. It was originally built as a pool house for Yew Dell’s original owner, Theodore Klein, but you can now rent space in it for meetings or special occasions.
- CastlePost (230 Pisgah Pike Versailles, Kentucky 40383)
Facebook/CastlePost And last but certainly not least, CastlePost offers a truly authentic castle experience, right in the heart of the Bluegrass State. Take a tour, stay overnight (it’s a hotel, too!), and be on the lookout for events and upcoming additions to this one-of-a-kind Kentucky destination.
We know about the Bourbon Trail, but maybe Louisville should also start a Castle Trail! Did you know about these four majestic buildings in our area? Share your thoughts with us in the comments!
