You can also hike the park’s seemingly endless acres on your own. Start off at the Prairie Learning Center to learn about what you’ll encounter.

You’ll spot plenty of wildlife! Keep count of how many rabbits you see scurrying off into the grass.

Chances are you’ll see some elk grazing, too! In the spring, they’re finally enjoying warmer weather and a chance to relax in the sun.
