New Jersey has a rich railroading history. We currently have nearly three dozen different lines in operation including commuter, freight, and military carriers. At one point, we had over triple that, including iconic (but now defunct) lines like the Lehigh & Hudson River Railway and New York & Long Branch Railway, and the Pennsylvania & Atlantic Railroad. What happened to all those tracks and train depots? Many remain but have been repurposed.

Lambertville Station is a beautifully restored 19th-century train depot that now serves as a wedding venue, restaurant, and inn.

You can still see the tracks from the dining area alongside the D&R Canal.
