When it comes to haunted streets, Mississippi has several. One of the most infamous is Nash Road in Lowndes County, which is believed to be haunted by the ghost of a three-legged lady. Devil Worshiper’s Road in Waynesboro is another sinister roadway, and the name alone is enough to send chills down your spine. And then there’s Johns Bayou Road in Vancleave. The lonely stretch of road has long been associated with sinister tales, which include a phantom van that is apparently out for vengeance. This is one street you’ll definitely want to stay away from after dark. Take a look:
Over the past few years, at least five car accidents have taken place on Johns Bayou Road. Every one occurred in the same exact location — the intersection of Johns Bayou and Mount Pleasant Roads.

Even stranger are the series of events that led up to each of the accidents. The drivers’ harrowing ordeals all began the same way.

Each stated they were driving down the rural road alone at night when all of a sudden, they’d spot what appeared to be blood in the road.

After investigating the unusual sight and returning to their vehicles, drivers claim that headlights would suddenly appear out of nowhere.

Next, a “dark colored” van would emerge from the shadows, crash into their stopped vehicle, and then disappear back into the darkness.
