In 1917, newlyweds Louis and Esther Rheb moved to a home on Wilkens Avenue and soon began making chocolates in their basement. Their succulent sweets were so successful, that they eventually converted their garage into their very own candy store.

You can still visit this spot today but try to arrive early. There’s almost always a line of hungry customers at Rheb’s Candies.
