If you’re up for a thrill in eastern Nebraska, this bridge walk is quite the adventure. The Bob Kerrey Pedestrian Bridge is the first ever pedestrian bridge to connect two states (Nebraska and Iowa), and its route right over the Missouri River is absolutely stunning. The bridge officially opened to foot traffic in 2008. On the Nebraska side, a three-acre playground and public space sits at the bridge’s entrance.
