New Orleans will soon host one of the world’s biggest cruise ships.

The 4,000-passenger Norwegian Breakaway by Norwegian Cruise Line will start sailing from New Orleans in November 2018. The ship will remain based in the city until April 2019, sailing between ports including Cozumel and Costa Maya, Mexico; Ocho Rios, Jamaica; George Town, Grand Cayman; Roatán, Honduras; and Harvest Caye, Belize.

Facebook/Norwegian Cruise Lines Breakaway is the 16th largest cruise vessel in the world and will be the biggest cruise ship ever to sail from New Orleans. It offers a spa, an Aqua Park and sports complex, Broadway entertainment and a mini golf course. Its 2018 voyages to the Caribbean will last between seven and 10 days.
