Being a state in New England, Connecticut is probably not the first place that you would look for fantastic Mexican food. Up here in the north, we do have some restaurants that know how to do Mexican fare just right. In the small village of Niantic of East Lyme, we found a restaurant that has fantastic flavor and you should give it a try.
Niantic is a tiny village of East Lyme. It is composed of 3.5 square miles of which only 1.5 square miles are land - now that is tiny!

For a small place, Niantic certainly has some big and bold views of the Long Island Sound.

East Coast Taco is located at 51 W Main St., Niantic, CT 06357. They are open Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. They’re closed on Mondays.
