With winter right around the corner in Oregon, it’s time to start pulling our warm clothes out of storage and start planning some cold weather activities. One great spot to check out this year is Southern Oregon’s Table Mountain Winter Play Area. This park is the perfect place for you and your loved ones to while away a wintry afternoon. Check it out:

You won’t want to miss taking a thrilling ride down the snow hill. This moderately sloped hill is designed specifically for snow tubing and sledding.

The best news of all? It’s free! Just make sure to bring your own sled or snow tube along.

You can also access snowmobile, snowshoe, and cross-country ski trails from the park.

After playing in the snow, you can defrost in the warming shelter. Keep in mind that you’ll have to bring your own wood to start a fire in the stove. A restroom is also located here.

If you’re hungry, you can roast up some marshmallows on one of the outdoor fire pits.
