Whether you are a nature lover or not, there are some spots in the outdoors that will simply take your breath away when you see them for the first time. This hiking trail in North Dakota will give you that exact experience and what you’ll find on it will leave you speechless. Take a stroll along this path and see what we mean:

There are three connected loop trails in North Dakota’s Lake Metigoshe State Park that all create a beautiful, unforgettable experience.

NDPRD/Flickr The loop trails are called the Eagle, Scout, and Tenderfoot Loops and every one of them is connected. They are located at the very edge of the park at the end of the main park road. All together, they have a length of about 2.4 miles.

The trails can be done in a way that they form one big loop as they take you through the dense forests that fill this area.

NDPRD/Tripadvisor Because each loop is connected one after the other, they form a great section that meanders around the area, first through the trees, and then…

After walking the trail for a little while, you’ll start to see a brilliant blue peeking out from the trees.

This is Lake Metigoshe, which can easily be seen from all the trails as they skirt around the edges.

Stick around on the trail until sunset and you are definitely in for a treat!
