The Highland Scenic Highway stretches 43 miles through some of West Virginia’s most beautiful scenery.

The Scenic Highway begins in Richwood, on State Route 39, then connects with State Route 150, and ends when you reach U.S. 219.
There are four scenic overlooks along the way: Williams River, Big Spruce, Little Laurel and Red Lick.

Along the way, you’re sure to see some beautiful scenery and plenty of fall foliage. The road travels from an elevation of 2,325 feet to more the 4,500 feet. The higher you go, the more impressive the vistas.
