Pat’s or Genos? Who has the best cheesesteak in Philly? The best corned beef in Baltimore? Regional food fights get people talking and taking sides. There is a long-standing food rivalry right here in New Mexico. It is between two (historical) burger joints – almost across the street from each other. Your comments can help us settle burger war.

The Owl has a long history in New Mexico. It’s been around since the 1940s. Their burger has topped many “best of” lists and has been featured in books like Hamburger American and 500 Things to Eat Before It’s Too Late.

Buckhorn has been around San Antonio since the 1940s too. They also have won many awards and have been featured in magazines like GQ and Travel + Leisure.
