Now for this haunted restaurant’s tragic story. It is believed that the ghost who roams the grounds is a woman named Mary Jane Reed whose murder was never solved.

Mary worked as a telephone operator and was believed to be no more than 17 years of age at the time of her death, which likely took place in the restaurant, where she often liked to visit.

Nowadays, current employees report seeing a woman who wanders around the front hallway late at night. Utensils fall and objects fly across the room in the kitchen.

Other paranormal claims include one that a woman walked right through the construction site during renovations, and workers refused to work late shifts due to other strange occurrences. They, too, noted that the jukebox would play by itself after midnight.
