As most food lovers in Maine will tell you, eating out in Vacationland can feel like heaven. But, few restaurants are quite as much of a holy experience as this one! This converted church in Portland has been delighting guests since 2009. Visitors will find beauty not only in the concept, but also inside and outside the building. Currently on the the National Register of Historic Places, Grace is located in a former Methodist Church that was built around 1856.

The design of the building was kept as intact as possible and today, diners will see the original pews in the downstairs seating area, the pulpit as the host stand, and the coal chutes which are now wine cellars.

The inside is vast, with beautiful details including the incorporation of the stained glass window design into the logo and the cover to the beautiful round bar area.
