If you’re in Indianapolis, you’re very lucky. Not every major city has a wide variety of hiking trails that can make you feel like you’ve truly escaped the city and have been transported to a quiet, nature-filled haven. Indy actually has quite a few trails that’ll make you feel this way, but our favorite has to be Fall Creek Trail.

Fall Creek Trail is located in Fort Harrison State Park, which is at 6000 N. Post Road, Indianapolis, IN 46216.

This 2.7-mile loop trail has a moderate rating, making it perfect for hikers of all experience levels. At less than three miles, you’ll have no trouble traversing this trail even if you aren’t a hiking enthusiast.
