If you’re feeling overwhelmed at the choices, we have a few recommendations for the most beautiful places in Maine that might make things easier.

- Angel Falls, Franklin County

- Rattlesnake Flume and Pool, Near Gilead

If you prefer to keep your core temperature on the reasonable side, just stand here and look at the emerald water. It’s a truly unique to find in Maine and worth the walk on the hidden path.
- Gulf Hagas and the Rim Trail, Katahdin Iron Works State Park

- Aroostook National Wildlife Refuge, Caribou

- Dunn Falls, Andover

- The Bold Coast Scenic Byway, Millbridge to Easport

- Acadia National Park, Mt. Desert
dawilson / Flickr Maine’s only National Park will can keep you busy for days. But, if you’re not looking to work up a sweat hiking, there’s plenty to do for natural beauty lovers. Acadia is one of the most beloved and well-known trips to take while in Maine.
- Baxter State Park, Millinocket
