You may be surprised to learn that a Little Jurassic Park has invaded South Carolina’s most beloved outdoor attraction. If your goal is to see dinosaurs in a natural habitat, then you don’t have to travel to a secluded island adorned with a secret laboratory dedicated to resurrecting prehistoric creatures from the past. At least not for the next several months! Kids and adults alike love the animatronic dinosaurs that have taken over the butterfly exhibit and adjacent field at Brookgreen Gardens in Murrells Inlet.
The prehistoric creatures have motion sensors and not only move when they sense someone is near, but also bellow out a realistic-sounding roar. Their eyes blink and their heads, arms and tails move, making this a one-of-a-kind experience you won’t soon forget.
