The park contains the Rubicon Trail which is one of Lake Tahoe’s most treasured hiking trails. This 7-mile long trail connects D.L. Bliss to Emerald Bay and provides some of the most stunning overlooks of the California’s most beloved lake.

D.L. Bliss contains all sorts of treasures to be discovered. Within the park is the well-known Rubicon Point Lighthouse. Sitting at around 7,000 feet above sea level, it was once considered the highest standing lighthouse in the country.

You’ll even find yourself stumbling upon an old Scandinavian mansion called Vikingsholm. The mansion looks surreal located within the park but it’s an incredibly beautiful sight. The 38-room mansion was built in 1929 and is definitely worth checking out.
