Located in West Charleston, Clyde River Recreation started 10 years ago and has been delighting visitors ever since. This kayak park in VT have over 150 canoes, kayaks, paddleboards, and matching accessories located in a large barn just waiting for you. Whether you stick around for a few hours of paddling or spend the day in another area of Vermont, spending time on the water has never been so much fun!
There’s no need to wait until Spring is in full bloom to paddle. Clyde River Recreation is open from mid-April through mid-October.

Beginners may want to start with their 5.5 mile paddle trip.
Facebook/Clyde River Recreation You’ll be driven about 6 minutes away and the staff will assist you launching in. This leisurely paddle takes about 2.5 - 3 hours and you end up right where your left your car. It couldn’t be easier!
For more experienced paddlers, there are 9.5 and 16 mile trips.
