In New Hampshire we have more than our fair share of beautiful hiking trails, many that run alongside rivers, waterfalls, and other incredible features. However, sometimes it seems like all of the attention goes to a few of the usual suspects – Arethusa Falls, the Flume, etc. Those spots are undeniably gorgeous, but get off the beaten path on your next New Hampshire adventure with one of our favorite underrated spots!
Chesterfield Gorge Natural Area, in Chesterfield, is a 13 acre spot known for its beautifully scenic trails.

Of course, just because it’s a short trail doesn’t mean you should charge through. Stop and soak your feet in the cold, clear water and take it all in.
