Every year, Cathedral Square lights up in participation of downtown Milwaukee’s Holiday Lights Festival.

Cathedral Square is older than Milwaukee itself! It was originally known as Courthouse Square in 1836.

During the winter, this park is full of fun events, including an annual holiday parade, a Christmas market, and other activities with popcorn, hot cocoa, and even the Claus family themselves!

Besides the events, there’s also a Christmas tree decorating contest put on by local children’s groups that fills the park with cheer.
