One of the best things about DC is that it’s a city that is constantly changing. Even though it’s steeped in so much history, DC evolves all the time. What was once a terrible area can become the trendiest destination. When Money Magazine came out with their list of the coolest neighborhoods in America, we were not too surprised by which DC neighbor nabbed a spot.
The Capitol Riverfront was ranked as No. 6 on Time’s list. The area has expanded enormously over the last few years. In fact, it used to be quite a dangerous area in DC.

It is now a popular destination for both tourists and residents. Capitol Riverfront is a mix of commercial and residential buildings with plenty of activities, restaurants, and entertainment.
