For many of us, summer sleep-away camp is one of our fondest childhood memories. The cozy cabins, the songs, the games, the camaraderie — it all combined to create some of the best, and most carefree, days of our lives. While it’s difficult to relive that experience as an adult, there’s one New Hampshire restaurant and bar — fittingly called Camp — that’ll bring you back for a few hours.
Camp is part of the Mill Falls at the Lake complex in Meredith — from the outside, it blends right into the hotel, but that exterior is deceiving.

Step inside and you’ll be transported back in time to your childhood summer camp days, with plenty of rustic wood, carved signage, and a big stone fireplace.

They probably didn’t have a bar at your summer camp, but if they did, this is just what it would have looked like!

Every corner is decorated with woodsy touches and kitschy (in the best way) memorabilia.

As much as it might remind you of an old summer camp, the food is that of a gourmet restaurant. The steak tips are absolutely mouthwatering!

Whatever you do, don’t skip the Camp biscuits — they’re absolutely scrumptious.

The seafood is especially delicious — certainly a far cry from what the lunch ladies served up at your summer camp.

Definitely don’t pass on dessert — every kind of sweet they offer here is a delight.
