Any time of the year is great for some interesting hauntings around San Francisco. Located an hour outside the city is a mine with caves that will more than you spook you out. The Black Diamond Mines are a place you should only visit if you want to experience a creepy and truly haunted thrill. Let’s take a look:

The Black Diamond Mines Regional Preserve is a 6,000-acre park located north of Mount Diablo. There is a creepy and unknown history that many people don’t know about at all.

There are claims of ghosts and a haunted past among the splendor and natural beauty at Black Diamond Mines Regional Preserve.

The old abandoned mine is home to several ghosts. The coal mine was in operation until about 1945, and since then there have been many reports of paranormal sightings.

The ghost called the Wailing Witch is the most feared spirit residing in the caves. The story of this ghost lives on still today.
