Since the restaurant is in a house, it consists of many rooms, giving it a very homey feel. The rooms are named after politicians like Bryan, Charles Dawes and George W. Norris, and the bar bears the name Chautauqua.

Billy’s has been open since 1986, making it one of Lincoln’s longest-running restaurants. Chef and owner Nader Farahbod is well known in Lincoln for his thoughtful and elegant menus.
