Nestled in the lovely small Kentucky town of Cynthiana, Ashford Acres Inn is relatively new to the extensive bed and breakfast scene in the Bluegrass State. Nevertheless, it’s quickly become a treasured destination for relaxation and escape from the everyday world. Ironically, this elegant Inn has a Hollywood connection that is also related to escaping reality. One of the owners of Ashford Acres happens to be the wife of the writer and Executive Producer of the popular zombie show, The Walking Dead. And the unsettling storyline couldn’t be more opposite from the calming experience you’ll have at this beautiful bed and breakfast.
The small town of Cynthiana has always been loved by those who call it home, but it’s recently gained even more notoriety.

The town of Cynthiana celebrated last year with “The Walking Dead Day.” The town was literally taken over by fans (many dressed as zombies) and there continues to be a push to make this one time event an annual tradition.
