Arrowhead Park is located on the east side of Sioux Falls. The address is 1710 S. River Bluff Road.

This area served as a quarry long ago. The barn, built in 1888, was once used to stable horses.

You’ll see some interesting quartzite formations in the three quarry ponds at the park.

These formations were created by glaciers during the Ice Age. Many buildings in Sioux Falls were constructed with rock from the quarry.
